Training Unlimited Animal Training and Animal Actors, Inc. was established in 1983 by professional trainer and award winning author, Miriam Fields-Babineau.
Please note that we train ALL animals not just dogs, though dogs are our most frequent clients. Cats are also very trainable as are other species of pets. If it is a living thing it has the ability to reason and learn, otherwise it wouldn't exist. As all training is done through the use of positive reinforcement/operant conditioning, animals learn quickly and enjoy the process.
We offer private in-home lessons or you can bring your pet to us for private lessons or board and train at beautiful Shady Mountain Pet Retreat.
Besides publishing 37 books about pet training, behavior and care, Ms. Fields-Babineau designed pet training tools to aid in the process of training dogs and cats. Animal Actors have taken center stage at Training Unlimited since 1983. Many of our own pets and those belonging to our clients have performed in media and theatrical productions. Our animal actors are found through our training sessions and Studio Animal Workshops. We rarely hire animals and handlers we haven't worked with in some capacity, as we are very particular in maintaining our excellent reputation for providing a good product (i.e. well groomed, well trained, beautiful animals) for production work.
